Contesting a Will

In our experience, many Wills are not legally binding when when someone who feels that they have been unreasonably left out of a will. Courts have the power to, and often do, redistribute estates so that all parties a fairly provided for in the following circumstances.

  1. Whether or not the Will is grossly unfair;
  2. Whether there are financial needs of “family members”;
  3. Whether there a dependants who were partially or fully financially dependant upon the deceased

We can also help you challenge the validity of a Will through testing whether the Will was properly signed and witnessed and created by a person of sound mind at the time they made or changed their Will?

There are time limits around when you claim, so your are best to talk to a solicitor as soon as you recognise an issue.
